Yandicoogina Mine, Pilbara WA

Bridge over rail being constructed at Yandicoogina Mine in the Pilbara, WA.   RECO designed and supplied 1290sqm of the Reinforced Earth® TerraPlus® abutment walls seen in this photograph, taken in early 2017. For this project, RECO also manufactured and delivered precast L shaped barriers that were stitch poured into the bridge deck to act as edge protection for the mine trucks.   All precast works were carried out in the RECO precast facility in Landsdale, Perth.

RECO Internship Engineers

The Reinforced Earth Company Australia welcome two student engineers who will be completing their international internship requirements in our Sydney office.   Paul Hirson and Vincent Langranchi study at HEI International – Graduate School of Engineering located in Lille, France.  At RECO Paul will focus on the development & introduction of a new product for the Australian marketplace while Vincent will focus on transforming a current manufacturing process into a digital format.

Christchurch Northern Corridor - Kā Pūtahi Creek

Reinforced Earth Ltd was contracted by CNC Alliance to design & supply Reinforced Earth®Terraclass® bridge abutment walls for the Kā Pūtahi Creek Bridge as part of the Christchurch Northern Corridor Project in New Zealand.  The creek has been realigned & developed into a small forested wetland area.   Follow this link to read more.

Northern Connector - Bridge Lift

The Reinforced Earth Company was contracted by Lend Lease to design & supply the bridge abutments from which the Port River Expressway Bridge in South Australia was launched in January 2019.In this film of the event please view the hexagonal shaped concrete facing panels with a ‘salt crystal’ relief pattern designed to meet this ambitious urban design.   Congratulations to Lend Lease, DPTI South Australia, and all involved in constructing this critical component of Adelaide’s 78km North-South Corridor.
