In 1986 RECO designed and reconstructed the 342m², 85.2m long, TerraSet® Honiara copra wharf, by reinterpreted traditional Reinforced Earth techniques for underwater construction. Staged construction, using temporary wirewalls, ensured only the required work zones were open up and exposed at any one time.
