RECO was contracted to design and supply over 3000m² of Reinforced Earth wall abutments for four major bridges on the Craigieburn bypass project.  The Merri Creek Bridges have a maximum height of 15.38m.  RECO worked closely with Abigroup’s Project manager, Mr. Rob Cairns in developing a new random Bluestone rock panel finish, to achieve a look, mimicking that created traditionally by fixing natural Bluestone rock to cast insitu walls, without any of the negative drawbacks of working at great heights of lengthy construction times.
